I ordered this a few weeks ago. 5'10, 167lbs, 40-41 chest. Got a size medium. This coat fits perfectly, it's extremely warm, and the quality is impeccable. Kudos to Schott for still making solid products

Purchased this in advance of the winter and am pleased with the coat. It's definitely a quality product. Heavy wool, and has been keeping me warm.

I love the look of this coat, and the quality is top notch. As another reviewer mentioned about the XL, it would benefit from a slight bit of extra room around the upper arms/shoulders, but as it broke in, it did seem to relax a little. The only real disappointment I had was that the while the lining is nice, it is not quilted like my older, regular pea coat, that quilting makes for a significantly warmer coat (very much noticed in this latest cold snap); I wish Schott would consider adding a quilted lining to the knee length model.

Without fail, every day I've worn this since getting it, I've been complimented. Included were those who told me that they wanted one for a relative or themselves upon seeing it. Also, it does its primary job of keeping me WARM!

This coat is beautiful, very well crafted and worth the premium.

I wanted something classic, and I found the waist coats too short, this coat is classy yet warm !

This coat is an absolute beast. The wool is incredibly thick and insulates you very well from the collar down to where the coat stops at your knees. No weather is coming through this thing.

Favorite detail is the collar/throat latch. The collar pops up and stands on its own in very windy weather to block the cold from hitting your neck. There’s also a buttoned throat latch you can use to secure the collar in place standing up around your neck for the most treacherous conditions.

Only thing I wish was better is the sleeves/arms holes. I do a fair bit of exercise and the XL fits me very well through the chest and shoulders but if you’re layering underneath the coat the arm holes and sleeves start feeling tight and limiting range of motion.

Very nice coat, knee length, thick and warm. I'm 5,11" 195lbs, athletic build and I ordered size large. Enough room to wear a sweater underneath, not too tight. I love the lapels and collar, gives it presence, you will definitely not go unnoticed with this coat.
