For the past year I've been on the hunt for the perfect brown leather jacket to flesh out my wardrobe. When perusing Schott's offerings, there was a palpable jolt of adrenaline when I saw this jacket as it was love at first site. When it arrived a week later, the smell was the first sign of the quality and all of the small details are equally as on point. I am thrilled to own this jacket and look forward to it being a staple in my rotation for decades to come.

Did not like the dark brown collar so removed it
and had the existing one reworked, look great now, makes it look like it belongs now,

Schott makes another good one.

Third time was the charm. After trying and sending a few of the Schott jackets back, I found one that fits. Perfectly. And it looks great on me.
But don't go out and buy one. I don't want to ever see anybody else wearing one.
FYI, I am 5'9" and 165 lbs. Slim and trim (before Thanksgiving) with a 39" chest. I bought a medium.

If you want a Made in the USA leather coat, theres only 1.That is a Schott Jacket! If you want a Quality made Leather Coat its Schott! My wife and I have several, we Love Them. They will last a lifetime!

This jacket my first Schott jacket purchase. Wish I had known about Schott quality craftsmanship and materials a long time ago. At 5’7”, 140lbs I ordered a size Small. Jacket arrived a few days later and it was slightly too small. Sent it back and ordered a size Medium. Medium arrived a few days later and it fit perfectly. Schott Customer Service and Exchange Policy is first-rate.

If you want the longest lasting, best quality, Made in The USA leather Jacket. There's only 1 Company to get it from Schott. I own around 12 different Schott Jackets as does my wife. This Jacket I bought for my self for Christmas. My wife liked it so much I got her a Medium Men's, She Loves it!
You cant go wrong with the Quality, these Jackets last forever!

Gorgeous leather. Color as shown on web site. The nubuck will patina beautifully. ‘I’m 5’9”, 43” chest & 34” waist. L fits perfect over just a shirt, with room for a light sweater underneath for cold weather. Sleeves maybe half inch long with arms at side, but perfect when driving or sitting. Wonderful for driving my convertible. Great masculine look that goes with everything from work clothes to evenings out. The light cotton lining makes it incredibly versatile over a wide temperature range. The jacket is not stiff even when brand new, and will only get easier to wear as it breaks in. I like the classic button closure for casual wear. Not great for motorcycle use but It’s simple and foolproof, If you want the more wind proof zipper go with the Storm model. Same leather but heavier liner. And of course nubuck is not the best choice for wet weather.

This is my sixth Schott. Love them. Have cafe racers in several styles & colors, classic heavy black biker jackets, and a bomber style. All are awesome American classics. But this one will get a lot more use due to its comfort & versatility., and it’s my wife’s favorite on me. Great investment.

I'm 6'4 200: Large fits great, long enough in the sleeve and not to short in the waste. Amazing craftsmanship, The leather is soft and wears as you move, leaving discoloration that is awesome. It's not heavy so you can wear it in most conditions. Moves well and conforms to the body. Very soft and durable leather. Would rec this to anyone who wants a distressed staple piece to their lifelong collection.

Have now had this jacket for 6 months.
Looks better than the pictures.
I'm 5'8' and wear med long in shirts, jacket sleeves too long.
Had the sleeves retailored and shortened locally.
Even my tailor was struck by the quality of this jacket and he's a harsh critic.

Out of stock when I ordered and resupply delayed due to Covid (I assume) but worth the wait. Fantastic fit & finish. When you pay this price you expect perfection and they hit the mark.

My fifth Schott and new favorite. I'm 5'11" 210 lbs and the Large fits me like a glove.

Knocking a star off as the sleeves for this and other Schotts I've own come with comically long sleeves from the factory requiring professional hemming.

I had my eye on this jacket for quite some time. I kept vacillating ..."do I need this?"..."how many more Schott jackets do I really need?".."is this the best way to spend my hard earned money?" And the answer to all of those questions in my head could arguably be "no". BUT...on a whim I figured "what the heck" and bought it justifying that I could always return it if it didn't meet my expectations. Well...BIG expense no doubt, but this jacket is NOT going back!!! It met my expectations and then some! What a beautiful garment! Great workmanship! Awesome stying! The fit is PERFECT! Well done AGAIN Schott! I am going to need to ban myself from your site however as if we continue like this, it could be dangerous to my bank account! Beautiful Jacket!!!

First off...I need another leather jacket like a hole in the head. I've had my eye on this since it was first introduced and candidly, when my size went out of stock I was somewhat relieved. Then came the email that it was re-stocked and temptation got the best of me...

The jacket arrived yesterday and I must say, NO BUYER'S REMORSE HERE! WOW! It's better than I expected. Fit is perfect and it feels just great on. Leather is supple yet seems strong. I'm VERY happy with this jacket. Thank you, (again), Schott!

This jacket is just what I expected, just better. This jacket looks great and fits like a glove. Over the years I have had 10 jackets from Schott and I was never disappointed. My sons took on the tradition and wear them with the same pride as I did.

The fit of this one is phenomenal! I have custom jackets that do not fit any better than this! The semi nubuck cowhide took a bit of getting used to. The fit and comfort more than make up for it. The goatskin collar is a nice touch of contrast. The refinement of the cut and composition are a notch above my other leathers. I really wish I did not know that Schott's XXL in regular fit did not fit me perfectly. With the number of beautiful leathers that they offer, this could be a very dangerous thing.

Just got this one, and overall, I like it and it’s a keeper. One thing to note — it’s not all cowhide. It’s also goat hide according to the label. In fact, I suspect most of the outer is goat hide and only the collar is cow hide.

A quality that I like but others may not — it shows scratches easily to the surface, even from brushing a finger nail as you button it closed. I think this means that it will distress and patina nicely and more quickly. Despite that, the hide (whatever it may be) seems tough. Would be better if Schott NYC included ALL types of hides used in its descriptions for customers.
