I love this jacket. it fits perfect. I'm 5'10, 190 Lbs with a 42.5 chest. So I got the 42 and it's perfect wot plenty of room. I can wear it with anything. I removed the fur collar and Liner since I am not really into that look. I love the vintage feel ad look of the leather. It's softer and more broken in than my 141 but I love them both.

This might be THE leather jacket. The leather is well finished and not as stiff as on a Pefecto 613 (which is the other Schott jacket I own) but still thick and substantial. The versatility inherent in wearing the jacket with the zip in liner and detachable collar makes it useful for almost every season. I’m 6’2” with an athletic build, and a forty inch chest. The 38 fits great. Long enough in the sleeves and waist while not being too slim.I wear a 40 in the Perfecto but sized down for the A-2, and that was the right choice.

This jacket arrived in the perfect size thanks to the very accurate sizing chart. I love the detachable collar and zip-out lining. Just a word of caution- the sleeves are unlined, so this is more of a cool weather jacket than one you'd grab for bitter cold, like my B-3. I'd say it's good down to 30 degrees, maybe 20-25 with a warm wool shirt underneath. Quality is first-rate and a real pleasure to wear!

This is one of the nicest quality flight bomber I have seen and the fit is perfect. I've owned many jackets more than double the price of this one and the quality doesn't even come close. This jacket will forsure last a life time. Good job Schott for making such good quality jackets.

I just went to Schott NYC and the Gentleman that assisted me when I bought my Crazy Horse Engineer Boots assisted me once again. I let them know what I was in search of and was directed to where the jackets were. I was not rushed or hurried. All my questions were answered. I went with the A2 Flight Jacket which is exactly what I need for NYC/Chicago winters. The jacket looks and feels great. The quality is second to none. If you’re going to buy a leather jacket do it right the first time. When you buy cheap you always pay more. Get a Schott. Treat yourself Don’t beat yourself.

I find the jacket too heavy and rigid.Putting the jacket on is a major effort. The zipper rubs my neck when moving my head driving my car.

Super Schott A-2 Naked Cowhide Leather Flight Jacket -After I bought my Schott perfecto 618 jacket I knew it wouldn't be the last so when I saw the A2 and I read all the reviews I knew I had to get one and I'm so glad I did I bought it in a 42 inch chest regular as I'm a 46inch chest I was wondering about the chest tolerance of the jacket so I emailed a wonderful lady at Schott and asked her the chest tolerance and it was 4 inches making the 42 a 46 so after ordering 2 days later I received my jacket wow it's an amazing jacket a perfect fit and very warm and that Schott leather smell hits you as soon as you open the box I love the removable faux fur collar and zip in liner perfect I absolutely love it and highly recommend it ????

I bought this jacket recently, unfortunately the measurement tool on the site is not very accurate, so I had to send it back and downsize it by two sizes, The other way she was, I had to pay three lots of import duties, one for receiving it, one for sending it back, and the other for receiving the replacement, plus postage 3 times, So buyers beware of international shipping

However, The customer service was excellent and helpful and guided me through all the steps, after all the issues of getting the right size, I am still more than happy with the jacket that I purchased and will purchase from them again.

I was scrolling pages for days to find a jacket worth every penny. Finally found one in Dark Brown, got my hands on it (Size 52) within a week here in New Delhi, India. The best part,
1. There's always some room left for layering.
2. The arms are pretty mobile because of the gussets at the back. So the Jacket doesn't shift while riding a bike or driving a car.
Best purchase ever. Ordered the Naval Peacoat and waiting to get my hands on that!

Only my 2nd or 3rd leather jacket in 82 years of life. Gave my last (and rarely worn) one to my granddaughter. After much research, and debating whether an elderly man could wear a leather jacket, decided to visit the Schott store in NYC. A great and fun experience. Tried on several jackets and with my wife's help, picked this one. I liked the idea that the collar and lining could come out, which means it can be worn in a wider range of temperatures. The knit wristband and cuffs were also a plus for me. The jacket is heavy, but less so with the collar and lining out. The leather will need some breaking in. I'm not so sure it's a city jacket, so will mostly use it when we are at our suburban home in NJ. Also bought a corduroy jacket to wear in NYC.

Schott does it again, amazing jacket. Just received my 184 SM today (2/3/23) in black and this thing is absolutely gorgeous!! The leather is heavy but soft and very pliable. I am 5'11", 215 lbs and the size calculator recommended size 46. That is what I ordered and it fits perfectly. I am a huge fan of Schott leather jackets and have a closet full of them. However, none of them are made for cold weather or have pile liners. So I saw the 184 with the zip out liner and it fits exactly what I was looking for. I have to admit that I'm not too crazy about the detachable fur collar but it is well made like the jacket and could come in handy some time. Bottom line, this jacket is a work-of-art and I love it!

The A2 naked flight jacket is incredibly well made. It is serious quality and big cut above anything else I've seen in a flight jacket. Customer service is A1 as well; I ordered wrong size and it was exchanged in 2 days, free both ways. Will order from Schott again!

I used to own a black bomber jacket with black fur and lining way back in the '80's. I found this jacket and it is amazing. The jacket is everything I hoped it would be plus more!. First, finding black bombers was difficult. Brown is all over, but I prefer black. So, when I saw this I was thrilled. The leather is softer than I imagined, and the collar is extremely plush and soft. The zippers are not flimsy, but strong which is needed for this jacket. It's constructed very well, and has weight to it. It's not a light flimsy jacket. The fit is perfect. Overall the quality is top notch, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a durable, good looking quality leather jacket that will last a long time.

Just like the A2 I bought from you over 10 years ago. The jacket Looked and felt like my old friend from 10 years ago... except a little more stiff but with care and time it will loosen up be as comfortable as my old friend, less the wear spots. Keep up the traditions. Love my new jacket.
